Timothy's Blog (TWB 10/23/01-6/15/05)

Timothy's Blog (TWB 10/23/01-6/15/05). My thoughts about surviving the sudden death of my 3 1/2 year old son, Timothy. Tuesday, August 15, 2006. On the way to work this morning, I was listening to a CD by Deep Purple. That I picked up over the weekend, called Fireball. One of those albums I had on vinyl 20 years ago. I've always been a big Deep Purple fan. Track number 2 is a song called No, No, No. I had completely forgotten about that song from back in the vinyl days. But Timothy reminded me. Replete w...

Timothy's Blog (TWB 10/23/01-6/15/05): Nine Months and a Day

http://timothywburke.blogspot.com/2006/03/nine-months-and-day.html

Timothy's Blog (TWB 10/23/01-6/15/05). My thoughts about surviving the sudden death of my 3 1/2 year old son, Timothy. Thursday, March 16, 2006. Nine Months and a Day. Well, I completely missed it. Yesterday was exactly 9 months to the day that Timothy died. June 15 to March 15. The ironic bit, I guess is that both June 15 and March 15 were Wednesdays. So much has changed in these intervening nine months, yet so much has not. Posted by TimsDad at 11:51 AM. Links to this post:. Well, now that Christopher ...

Timothy's Blog (TWB 10/23/01-6/15/05). My thoughts about surviving the sudden death of my 3 1/2 year old son, Timothy. Sunday, December 25, 2005. Well, I made it through the First Christmas. The hardest time, honestly, was putting Matthew to bed. It was hard not to use the old adage Go to sleep or Santa won't come. It was hard, once he got to sleep, not to have to scramble around as in years past to pull the presents out of hiding and fill the space under the tree and stuff the stockings with gifts galore.

Timothy's Blog (TWB 10/23/01-6/15/05). My thoughts about surviving the sudden death of my 3 1/2 year old son, Timothy. Friday, June 09, 2006. I can't believe it's been a year now. I can't believe it has been that long since I heard your voice, heard you laugh, heard you sing those songs that Mama hated so. But, I never heard you say "Bye, Dad." Your very last words to me. All the joy in my heart left with you, one year ago. I hope it always feels this fresh, Timothy. If the pain subsides, I fear that...

Timothy's Blog (TWB 10/23/01-6/15/05). My thoughts about surviving the sudden death of my 3 1/2 year old son, Timothy. Wednesday, June 14, 2006. I didn't think it would bother me, the anniversary of Timothy's passing. But it is. I think that's why Timothy's anniversary is haunting me today. Tomorrow will not be just another day. But, June 15 will forever have significance far greater than any other day could. It was the day I lost my son. It is a date that will be forever marked in my soul as the...From ...
