Teamroy Adventures: October 2010
http://teamroyadventures.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 5, 2010. Every day on the visa line is unique. Today an applicant pulled her boob out at my window. No, she wasn’t breastfeeding (not an uncommon occurrence), and no, it wasn’t a wardrobe malfunction. She was explaining to me about the surgery she had undergone a few years ago and (for some reason) figured that visual aids were necessary. Sheesh. 8221; or “credible toes. 8221; (instead of ties. I’m sure they are relieved that I find their feet credible. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Teamroy Adventures: October 2009
http://teamroyadventures.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Saturday, October 31, 2009. From now on, I cannot be held responsible for grammatical mistakes because Spanish is melting my brain. Today begins the normal "busy season" in our household. Our anniversary, several birthdays, plus the regular holiday season tend to make money tighter, time thinner, and tempers flare(ier). This year, we have added pregnancy to the cauldron. And as if that wasn't enough, we've also scheduled two trips during the busy season. Have a safe and happy Halloween! A new couch appea...

http://teamroyadventures.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 10, 2009. I made a lot of bad decisions when I was young, but I somehow managed to make one of the most imporant decisions of my life correctly when I married Sara eight years ago today. I couldn't ask for a better partner in life or a better mother for our children. I love you sweetie. Happy anniversary. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Teamroy Adventures: December 2009
http://teamroyadventures.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 19, 2009. I just returned from a two-week Spanish immersion in Guatemala. We received four hours of one-on-one instruction each day, lived and ate with Guatemalan families, and had many other opportunities for cultural experiences. I was fortunate enough to have immersion with seven of my A-100 classmates. Overall, the experience was fantastic. I highly recommend the immersion for any other language learners. My Spanish improved (that's the point, right? Which essentially means "to wan...

Teamroy Adventures: Manuel Antonio
http://teamroyadventures.blogspot.com/2010/06/manuel-antonio.html
Friday, June 4, 2010. Sara decided that she had had enough of this not having a car business. So we rented a car and went away for the weekend (last weekend; I know; I'm slow.). The car rental. Process was fairly painless. They even dropped the car off and gave us a discount. Prices weren't bad; it was all the extra insurance I paid for that jacked it up. Even so, it was worth it. I employed a travel agent. I met to find a good hotel. The view from our balcony. The family pool at Si Como No. Which is exa...

Tuesday, May 31, 2005. Three day weekends go by way too quickly! It was certainly nice to have some time to recharge this weekend. Back to the work world now. Time to make some money so I can afford to make some more real memories. Posted by david at Tuesday, May 31, 2005. Sunday, May 22, 2005. Maybe, but it doesn't go down fast enough. I had to break out a few towels upstairs. Posted by david at Sunday, May 22, 2005. Monday, May 16, 2005. Weddings: It's Go Time! Let the festivities begin! It was a great...

Wednesday, December 21, 2005. Its Begining To Look A Lot Like Christmas. For my other self imposed blogging rules. Also, please feel free to leave a comment on any of the posts. I get my kicks out of comments. We have a big week planned, everything from meeting my extended family to skiing, to a wedding reception. It should be a great week! Many of you know or have heard my cousin play. Have a Merry Christmas! Posted by david at Wednesday, December 21, 2005. Tuesday, December 13, 2005. Only entry stairs ...

The David Digest: August 2005
http://daviddigest.blogspot.com/2005_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 25, 2005. The past three days I've spent at Yosemite National Park. I was very impressed. They have beautiful tall redwood trees everywhere, tall waterfalls, crystal clear rivers, and more rock formations than you can shake a stick or any other large pointy object at. We didn't have reservations, but we were able to find the nicest camp site of any there at a small backpackers camp just north of a main camping area, complete with running water and flushing toilets! At the half way point ...

The David Digest: June 2005
http://daviddigest.blogspot.com/2005_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 26, 2005. I'm not usually one to let my mind wander, but I also don't usually receive strange phone calls like this. I wasn't sure what to do, had the phone been stolen? Had my cousin been mugged or abducted? I ended up calling her parents. They assured me that she was with Columbian friends who frequently spoke Spanish and not to worry. I felt like an idiot.
