Thursday, February 21, 2013. I cannot remember the last time we had SO much snow! School has been called off for 4 solid days, (the walls are beginning to cave in around me) and we are running out of things to do inside. luckily, the weather report looks promising for some warmer temps to begin the melting. It's amazing how entertaining it can be to watch dad plow the driveway. Since max wasn't such a fan of playing in the snow outside, we brought it in. And he loved eating most of it. B in real life.

Friday, March 15, 2013. Thankful we were able to get a pic of this trap before it bit the dust AGAIN. On the way out the door.whew! Monday, August 20, 2012. And she's off.to kindergarten! This day came WAY too fast for me. as i finally type this post mid-september, i still can't believe she is in all day kindergarten. she really seems to love it (thankfully), but boy do i miss her terribly! We usually walk to school around 8:30 and she is released at 4:10. definitely a LONG day for a little one, but honestly, she is still going strong when she gets home. whew! So thankful for her wonderful school, teachers and friends. B in real life.

Wednesday, March 21, 2012. 2 months and counting. She has become his little mommy, for sure - helping me whenever i need it and spending time singing and talking with him. seeing that makes my heart so happy! Max has gotten on a schedule which really helps me throughout the day. he never misses a meal and even gets to have a little apple juice and water every now and again. he loves to be held and loves to nestle his face in the crook of my neck - seriously, there is nothing better. Sweet as can be.

Trevor has been training for months for the marine corp marathon in Washington, DC. this past weekend, all of his training was put to the test. although we couldn't be with him, we still were rooting him on here in Kansas. what an unbelievable accomplishment.one that he had dreamed of fulfilling. so proud of him!
