Tuesday, March 27, 2007. In the past week, I have seen no less than three beatings on the news, courtesy of video surveillance. One was a guy beating an 90 year old woman with a walker in an ATM cubby, one was a thug beating a skinny lady bartender, and one was a guy beating another guy in a store. Um, ok. So, WHO IS WATCHING THESE FEEDS? It's so great that the police can id attackers after looking at the tapes, but wouldn't it be nice if they could actually PREVENT the beatings? Links to this post.

But this morning, one of the hosts relayed a story to us that made us feel as though our preemptive worrying had been very small taters.
