The wedding just wasn’t the same without you

Well, we wanted to invite you all to the wedding, but circumstances made it nearly impossible. You see, we were planning a big wedding for May or June of 2002, when, on October 30. We heard about this potential 2 year job opportunity for Tom in England. Toby immediately packed her bags. Tom, on the other hand, being more cautious and sensible, had to think about it and ask lots of questions for 2 weeks. But the end result was the same. Tom accepted the position. Well, that partially depended on by whom.

As usual, my two faithful helpers have been ever-present, inspecting. Detail and nuance of the process. In stripping the pillowcases and sheets, and separating the down comforter from its cover to wash it, I had several typical cat reactions from Toby and Timba. The natives were restless indeed! And how true is it? But you know what? The Sweetness of Closeness.

黑面蔡的回憶 | memories forever
這周的天氣都不錯, 氣象預報本周末都是好天氣; 同學們各忙各的忙沒約騎; 好久沒騎北47了, 來去騎一趟吧! 今天打算悠閒騎,早上六點起床,外面天色還是黑黑的,不急著出門,摸到07:00才從家裡出發! 老路線,取道福德下深坑106乙到石碇, 今天特別到石碇老街吃碗稞 米粉湯當早餐;接著轉北47往小格頭慢騎. 說實在的,30速的公路車真的不錯;騎山路遇到長又陡的坡,前齒盤切到最小齒,輕輕鬆鬆往上騎;常常碰到兩盤公路車騎長又陡的坡時,騎的很辛苦! Saracen騎了快3,700km了, 漸漸能抓的到騎乘公路車的技巧了! 今天在北47就碰到了一台Colongo公路車 carbon輪組的好車 我前面最小盤跟在他後面 快到小格頭前大約200米 起身抽車(時速大約20 23km)兩三下超過他; 他心裡肯定不太舒服 想說鋁架公路車居然最後兩三下就被我超車! 下小格頭順著台九線北宜公路往新店騎下山 沿途一堆重機往坪林方向騎過去 一些沒改裝的重機引擎聲吵的要死 讓人著實不舒服! 14:00 從家裡出門,取道 福德-深坑-阿柔洋-貓空-老泉里-軍功路繞一圈, 大約38km/3 hours. 今天11/14 Sun....
