http://toffeeswamp.blogspot.com/2011/06/were-on-tv-spot-me.html
Adventures in Plaquemines Parish. Friday, June 24, 2011. Ms Pamela's house dedication ceremony was held on Wednesday. Getting to be on the New Orleans news was a real treat! At dinner on Thursday Ms Nicole, Pastor Lynn's wife, was sitting next to me and said she saw me and Brent on TV, and I was like, AHHHH! And Sherkiya, one of the youngest girls in the Westside group who was at our table, immediately got up and ran to the public computer to look it up. I don't go outside". I'm not in the sun very much".

http://toffeeswamp.blogspot.com/2011/06/week-3.html
Adventures in Plaquemines Parish. Tuesday, June 21, 2011. Zack on the screw gun, Darius on the drill, Tyler on the staple gun and Felicia holding up the pickets. Felicia using the router to bevel wood. As in the ladder on the 2nd floor deck got blown off, and trash bins were flying across the street. We called it a day at noon and went home. We have been sitting around in the dining hall playing cards ever since. I'm looking forward to tomorrow's dedication ceremony at Pam's house! My Undergrad Texas blog.

Adventures in Plaquemines Parish: Reworking
http://toffeeswamp.blogspot.com/2011/06/reworking.html
Adventures in Plaquemines Parish. Thursday, June 30, 2011. I feel really odd today because I'm not used to being in air-conditioning during the day. Man and if you want an indicator of how busy things are around here, I haven't talked much to Kim in the last 3 days even though we share a room! Partially because I ka-pow and go to bed pretty early. Also Peter and I did a Home-Depot (and smoothie) run up in Belle Chasse yesterday. My Undergrad Texas blog. My Penn State blog. Port Sulfur Baptist Church.

Walking down the levee next to Malcolm's kampong. Pete and Peter sitting on Malcolm's porch eating pecans. Pete lives in his own trailer on Malcolm's property. On Su...

http://toffeeswamp.blogspot.com/2011/07/happy-4th.html
Adventures in Plaquemines Parish. Monday, July 4, 2011. This week we have 12 teenagers and 8 adults from Indiana with us, representing the youth group of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. They are the most engaging group we've had so far, and I quite like all of them. Megan and Emily painting doors. Jeff and Nancy discussing the cement job for the lift base. Olivia and Ted preparing windowsills. Me tiling the bathroom. Peter and Ted putting up crown molding on the porch. Happy 4th of July! My Penn State blog.
