Tom and Anne's Garden. Saturday, February 2, 2013. The cucurbit that has been flourishing has set some fruit and it looks like it is. The size of this fruit is 120x60mm (- might get bigger yet). I am not sure where I got this plant from - maybe our garden club (TSGS). As a member gave a talk about it last year. We have never eaten it but it will be on the menu as soon as it ripens. Tom and Anne's Garden. Wednesday, February 1, 2012. Last week Anne had an email about this aroid type plant coming into flower in a garden near Beenleigh. We went to have a look and even though it was still not completely "out" it was still spectacular. This is the first time this plant has flowered - it is about 8yrs old apparently. The most urgent clean up has been done - removing a Sheoak that was blocking the driveway but the rest can wait a few days for hopefully cooler conditions. Sunday, January 27, 2013. Garden update -new bore. Rainfall past 24hrs : 45mm. Rainfall whilst away: 85mm - apparently this fell a day or two just before we returned from the trip.

It's been four years, three countries, two active surf patrol seasons, and one big surprise to lead to this day. Anne grew up in Ottawa. Tom and Ann Perry

Tom and Ann Perry. Thursday, June 2, 2011. Tom and I are both ecstatic! We have reached our target weight goals. I weighed in today at exactly 150 pounds. Tom weighed in at 161.8. So just a little less than his target of 162. I have one more week on phase 3, and Tom is now on phase 4, the maintenance phase. He really doesn't have to worry any more about weigh ins etc., just eating sensibly according to what we have been taught. Next Thursday should be my final weigh in! Tom and Ann Perry Family.
