When we received Bryn's camera back from the repair shop, I immediately linked it up to my laptop so we could download her long-awaited photos. These first two - taken at Christmas last year - were about what I expected to find from her, and typical of the others she took. Is it really just me? Wouldn't anyone feel unsettled to unexpectedly see this image on their camera's screen? Yeah, probably just me.

It's a good life! Monday, February 22, 2010. 1) Cutting down trees is hard work! And I didn’t actually do any cutting. Well, except when I got to use the chain saw to cut logs; I’m not sure who was more convinced that I was about to slice through my thigh – Tod or me! I’m back on branch hauling duty now. It's a good life! Tuesday, November 22, 2011. A Day of Feasts. Both girls had their harvest feasts at school today which meant it was a very busy day for me! Today I am most thankful for my mom, who made it possible for me to enjoy celebrating with both of my little turkeys. Dance of the Decades. Each fall at Bryn's school, the PTSA holds an all-school family dance - the Dance of the Decades. They hire a fabulous DJ who plays high-energy, kid-friendly music, (LOVE those 80s tunes! Fun, fun, fun, right?

It's a good life! Monday, November 21, 2011. Last year for Christmas Bryn received a real, grown-up, camera, (purple, of course), from her Nana. She loved it; loved taking pictures, (often of hostile subjects), and I mean A LOT of pictures. Since this was her first non-kid piece of electronics, I cautioned her - repeatedly - to. With it.
