Sunday, July 11, 2010. So lucky that the weather cleared up today and we could enjoy a great beach bbq with friends and family! She loves sitting with her uncle Mike. Mike loves this game! Mike and I were down near State this weekend and decided that it would be fun to go explore our old stomping grounds of SDSU (and stop at the bookstore to buy some things too of course! Friday, July 29, 2011. Finally caught up on the most recent event! This last Wednesday was Makena's second dance recital for Temecula Dance Company. Can I just say, she was seriously the cutest little dancer out there! I crack up that she was partnered with the only boy in the group and boy can she shake it! Here are a few pictures! I got a little crafty before Christmas this year (did I mention that I was up until 2:30am the night before Christmas Eve because I all of a sudden decided that I wanted to be creative this year at the last minute? As if we had nothing else going on.ugh! I made gift card. I made sure to embroider an initial. On them so we can reuse them! The California Firefighter Olympics is when most fire departments (from Northern and Southern California) compete in competitions such as softball, paddle boarding, surfing, etc. Mike was set to play with his department (Huntington Beach Fire Department) and play softball.
