http://color-my-world-with-warmth.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Color My World With Warmth. Sunday, January 18, 2015. Surprisingly, there are 1080 small squares! It didn't seem like I was making that many squares during construction and piecing. By using Bonnie Hunter's method for this scrappy Trip Around the World, this quilt top came together very quickly. Tuesday, January 13, 2015. The back side will take much longer since I will be cutting out each state to make a map of the US. Friday, January 9, 2015. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). My Drought Tolerant World. I als...

Color My World With Warmth: November 2013
http://color-my-world-with-warmth.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Color My World With Warmth. Friday, November 29, 2013. My mom sent me a box of fabrics with a pattern that she had planned on making. Since she lost interest in making the jacket, she thought that I might be interested in making the jacket for myself. Instead, I decided to make it for her as a surprise gift for Christmas. The pattern is Vogue 8863 by Katherine Tilton. I do NOT recommend this pattern since the directions to the pattern are poorly written and difficult to understand in a couple of steps.

Color My World With Warmth: Deformity Crab
http://color-my-world-with-warmth.blogspot.com/2014/09/deformity-crab.html
Color My World With Warmth. Sunday, September 21, 2014. I was pleased with the look of my mock-up crab pattern that I completed this week. I made some adjustments to the legs since I was worried that the points of the legs would become blunted once the blocks were all sewn together. In the process of making a template, I forgot to make the top of the legs wider. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Clark Fork Campground and the Attack of the Bees. My Drought Tolerant World. Color My World With Warmth: July 2014
http://color-my-world-with-warmth.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Color My World With Warmth. Saturday, July 19, 2014. I haven't done any quilting the past two months since I have been busy traveling. The first trip was to Japan with my son. I quickly tried to capture my son walking through the gates without others walking beside him at one of the shrines in Kyoto. And this is me at a temple that is dedicated to praying for a safe pregnancy and healthy baby. Heehee, Well I'm too old for pregnancies, but the buildings and grounds were very pretty at this temple. On that...
