I have experienced slight shin and heel pain and it did not seem to matter what i tried the pain always returned after a run. Everything was ok during the run. I decided that i would concentrate on being quiet over the ground and stop the foot "slapping". i have done this for the last two runs, including one of 56 minutes duration.
