Monday, December 30, 2013. Welcoming the New Year. Sunday, December 29, 2013. I wanted to pop back in before 2014 and share my last two finishes of the year. I spent some time finishing today and here are the results:. Mary's Sampler" finished as a pillow. I kept this simple and just added brown chenille trim. Peace" by Blackbird Designs - in the 2013 JCS Ornament Issue. I decided to frame this one instead of making it into an ornament. This way I can display it all year. I just love that big ole dove!

Friday, November 29, 2013. Was a jolly happy soul! He resides in my repurposed coal bucket filled with some faux seasonal greens. He sports a dandy homespun scarf and chenille trimmed mittens to keep him warm and rusty jinglers on his jaunty top hat. A couple of friends came along to keep him company. Saturday, May 23, 2015. Pennsylvania Road Trip - part 3. We got into Bedford, PA late afternoon on Saturday. We checked into the hotel and watched the end of " The Devil Wears Prada. It was a good movie and I wish we'd seen it from the beginning. I'll have to do that sometime. So anyway, we ventured out and found us some dinner at a local steak house.
