Thursday, April 29, 2010. 87 miles to go. It was another beautiful day on the BRP. Sunny skies, cool temps and about 6 or 7 tunnels. The morning was all uphill, but the afternoon was a 20-mile downhill into Asheville. Unfortunately, there was road construction so the roads were pretty rough in places, causing our first flat of the entire trip. Team N2N Rides the Rockies. Saturday, June 16, 2012. Friday was a fun day - the only one with virtually no climbing. It included screaming downhill switchbacks (the sign below is no exaggeration) into and through a beautiful canyon alongside a river.
