Chandaka jungle has no similarities with the other jungles of the state. So near to the capital city of Orissa and yet seems to be so far away from civilization. Deras is an entry point to the vast stretch of bamboo forest. Can you traverse through the dense forest on feet. Well we tried to do that thrice but could never go beyond 15kms towards the heart.
