We went out to Hoover Dam, walked part of the rail trail around Lake Mead, and ate Indian food from India Palace. I had a great time and loved having them here. Now this is no ordinary purse. My Great Aunt Annie made this purse probably 30 years ago. I'll have to get a better timeline from my Grandma. Thursday, August 7, 2008. Chandaka - Deras (15 Kms from Bhubaneswar). Chandaka Jungle is just 15 kms from Bhubaneswar(the temple city). Chandaka jungle has no similarities with the other jungles of the state. So near to the capital city of Orissa and yet seems to be so far away from civilization. Deras is an entry point to the vast stretch of bamboo forest. Can you traverse through the dense forest on feet. Well we tried to do that thrice but could never go beyond 15kms towards the heart.
