I was really not into anything for the past month. I guess I don't have too much good "wealth" .'cause people say 'HEALTH is WEALTH'! Monday, February 19, 2007. Khaman aka Khaman Dhokla. N Gujarat khaman and dhokla are considered as two different recepies however in Maharastra I found they called khaman as khaman dhokla. I make dhoklas but khaman I never tried making at home until I came across Daagh's. Now I make khaman dhokla quite often. Once again Daagh for this Jhatphat Khaman Dhokla. True to its name.came out fluffy and soft everytime. This is my entry for Rooma's. MBP, theme - Finger Foods and Starters. 1 cup Besan (gram flour).

For this dish I altered a pan-sauteed whiting recipe I found in a Fannie Farmer cook book, the original recipe was lighter with the fillets sauteed and served in their own juice. Whiting fillets : 3. Seafood breader (or plain flour will do ) : 1/3cup. Freshly ground pepper : 1 t. Pasta ( any pasta that will hold a very light sauce, I used tri color rotini): 2/3 cup. Olive oil: 1 T. Dry red chilli : 2. Cilantro, finely chopped: 1/2 cup.
