Getting involved and helping to raise funds. We welcome anyone who wishes to join in helping support those projects Township Help. A simple way is to invite friends, relatives and all those you know to your home for an informal coffee morning or afternoon tea event. We supply you the Township invite cards and also the Township DVD which you can show to those attending. In February 2004 I visited Cape Town in South Africa with The VCC Cricket Club from London. A unique cricket match was held in Gugulethu township between Nyanga CC and The VCC. Organized by the ex-Sussex professional cricket player Paul Phillipson the team visited Liwa Primary School. Within the township. As a result of a memorable day we decided to try and do what we could to support the children of Gugulethu Township. What we so often take for granted here is desperately needed somewhere else.
