Things have been a bit of a whirlwind the past two months, especially the past two weeks, and for the first Saturday in awhile, Mark and I are home and have absolutely nothing planned. We're in the News! Mark and I volunteer at Mt St Vincent Children's Home. In Denver. It used to be an orphanage but is now a treatment home for abused, neglected and traumatized kids. We play with a group of boys ages 6 to 12 several times a month, but last week we had the opportunity to help with the beginning stages of what will be a ropes course. And it made the news! Mark makes two brief appearances; I'm at the very end. Thats so exciting. You guys are the stars of the show. :). Words to Live By.

Santa Barbara, I love you. We have been existing in a slight state of crazy the past several weeks, but California was back on my mind today {I believe my exact words to Mark were "Promise we'll never let a year go by where we don't dip our toes into California's sweet, sweet soil". So after a couple of days sitting poolside in Palm Springs, and after a brief pit stop in beautiful Malibu, we made our way to Santa Barbara.
