Villa Dulce: A Newly-Discovered Haven Atop The Hill. April 14, 2013. April 29, 2014. I started my summer. In a newly-discovered resort in Naga City, Cebu – Villa Dulce. This hidden haven in Pangdan, Naga just opened last August 18,2012. Hence, improvements on its facilities and amenities are still in progress. It is a 5-kilometer drive from the City of Naga. Forget about all the stress in life and embrace the beauty of nature. A pool won’t be fun without a slide.😀. Again, isn’t it wonderful? Villa Dulce...
A Journey Worth Remembering: The Bantayan Island Relief Operation | Travel Bug

A Journey Worth Remembering: The Bantayan Island Relief Operation. December 4, 2013. April 14, 2014. This is a continuation of my first blog. In Bogo City. Yolanda was stronger than these concrete roofs. The heavy traffic was unusual going to the port of Hagnaya (except for Lenten Season maybe). The long lines of vehicles wanting to get into the barge never bothered me at all. It overwhelmed me instead seeing a lot of help coming from different people and organizations. So we went on…. At around 3:00 PM,...

Rebecca's journal entries from far-flung places. Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. The Magic of Mpumalanga. October 3, 2012. The land of the rising sun in South Africa is Mpumalanga province. It borders Mozambique and Swaziland. In Mpumalanga, the Drakensberg Escarpment plunges to the Lowveld, creating spectacular canyons and waterfalls. Here’s where the first rocks cooled, early ancestors lived in caves, and modern man went crazy for gold. The Three Rondavels, so named for thatched Afr...

Thursday, July 4, 2013. Huntsville 4th of July 2013. This year we decided to spend the 4th of July in Huntsville. We actually went up on the 3rd and stayed the Bole's cabin. We went for a drive on a mission to find moose. We found some on the 3rd and more on our way down to Huntsville on the 4th. Beaver dam. (they were everywhere). Mom trying out the new swing. Our spot for the parade. I think I liked the Obama one last year better. What's a parade without a "bedazzled" cow. Tuesday, June 18, 2013.

Thursday, September 4, 2008. Week 2 - Blog # 1. The Rhetorical Tradition was very interesting to me in Chapter 4. The author defines rhetoric as a form of artful public communication for persuasion. Some of the great leaders such as Martin Luther King Jr., and JFK used persuasion when they addressed the public. They would focus on certain points, organize the speech a certain way, their use of language and delivery was used tools to connect with people. Thursday, August 28, 2008. Week 2 - Blog # 1.
