Lucky 13 | Travels with Angel

https://travelswithangel.wordpress.com/2015/03/22/lucky-13

March 22, 2015. I am happy to announce that my 4-pawed pack has grown to 13 members. Last year we had just a girl’s club consisting of the original 6 members introduced to you in Leader of the Pack. And then Mary who joined us right soon afterwards. The Original Gang (The Girls). Nugget, Poke, Kanuti, Tamarack, Mary, Jago and Sue. Of course, I am in the middle. Sue, Tamarack, Mary. Poke and Nugget, Jago, Kanuti. We have recently accepted some new additions to our pack. Miles (a.k.a. Smiles). This winter ...

Northern Lights | Travels with Angel

https://travelswithangel.wordpress.com/2015/01/12/northern-lights

January 12, 2015. Isn’t it dark all of the time? Well, no actually winter is surprisingly light, especially when the Northern Lights are out. Did you know that the Aurora Borealis, also known as the Northern Lights, is named after the Roman goddess of dawn (Aurora) and the Greek name for the north wind (Boreas)? The Northern Lights sometimes appear as a curtain of green light, which fills the sky. The most distinctive and brightest of the Northern Lights appear as arches. The dance under a full moon.

Author Archives: Travels with Angel. About Travels with Angel. August 4, 2016. The winds of change have recently blown rather forcefully ultimately leading to some miraculous results. Big Winds of Change. I won’t eat the peacockmaybe. Sue loves to dig; she tried to help. Unfortunately, Sue did not exactly grasp the meaning of the phrase New Digs. We thought that our people had found a place not far from the ranch; the move was scheduled. Hang on Tight and Believe! From disappointment to delight! Mary lov...

Angel Wisdom | Travels with Angel

https://travelswithangel.wordpress.com/2014/04/11/angel-wisdom

April 11, 2014. Winter is slowly releasing its hold, and Spring is predicted to be right around the corner in spite of the eight inches of new snow which has just blanketed our area of Alaska. The sledding season is unfortunately coming to a close very quickly. Snow is pure, clean and pretty; dirt is well dirty. During this past winter season, I have learned a lot and have coined a few such sayings and nuggets of wisdom to share with you. No, Nugget, I am not referring to you. If you snooze, you loose.

Newer posts →. June 25, 2016. After a hard day of work and play, everyone needs a chance to relaxeven dogs. Due to my advancing age (now 10 years old), I have started thinking not only about relaxing activities, but also about ways to maintain my health. Do when they really want to relax the muscles? And wanted to sharing the fun with one of my sled dogs. I invited Cathy to go with me, but she did not want to go in the water. Being the socialite that she is, Cathy wanted to hug everyone. My canine family...

Vom Winter zum Sommer | Mit Angel unterwegs

https://mitangelunterwegs.wordpress.com/2015/07/20/vom-winter-zum-sommer

https://mitangelunterwegs.wordpress.com/2014/05/19/fruhlings-urlaub

Unterwegs seit: 1 Jahr a...

Leben auf dem Gletscher | Mit Angel unterwegs

https://mitangelunterwegs.wordpress.com/2014/07/05/leben-auf-dem-gletscher

Archiv des Autors: Travels with Angel. Über Travels with Angel. Folge A...

Travels with Angel | Angel's Adventures

From Winter to Summer. July 15, 2015. In April we once again traveled the Alaska-Canadian Highway. Two vehicles, 2 people and 14 dogs. Getting to Colorado took eight long days of driving over 3000 miles (4000 km). The trip was so long, it practically became a lifestyle: wake-up, drive, stop to eat, drive, sleep and repeat! When we left Alaska, there was still snow and ice on the ground. In Canada we drove into spring and then back into winter when we hit the mountains of Wyoming. The first dog house.
