Travels with Eli

Sunday, January 10, 2010. Baby, it's cold outside! Last Sunday, Eli visited the Kensico Dam in Valhalla. It was so cold that he didn't even get out of the car.just admired the Dam from a distance. Any ideas of where we should take Eli would be greatly appreciated! Eli, outside of Camp Smith (near the Bear Mountain Bridge), in front of a tank named the Countess Lucille. He was very impressed! A blurry, but cool (no pun intended) picture of Eli at sunset, along the Hudson River. Friday, January 1, 2010.

The pictures will also hopefully be posted over at Herb Hoover's blog, found here. Or possibly at his other site, found here. My first 3 pics of Eli are below. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Tuesday, July 28, 2015. Free Things To Do In Seoul - Olympic Park. The 1988 Summer Olympics were hosted in Seoul. Although the Olympics are long gone from Seoul, the city has done a great job preserving the park and using it as a green space for locals and tourists to enjoy. I have visited the Olympic Parks and Olympic Stadiums in Sarajevo, Barcelona, Munich and Montreal, but this one tops them all! Best part is that it is free! Free things to do in Seoul. Travels With Edwina | The Trails and Tribulations of an Overpampered Bicycle

The Trails and Tribulations of an Overpampered Bicycle. September 19, 2016. Odd how same, yet different a year can be. Last time this year, the human and I were in the desert heading towards the Mississippi. This year, we found ourselves 2000 miles north, in the forest and mining areas of Minnesota, heading towards the Mississippi. For the last ride of the trip, the humans and I once again picked. Finally a Babe statue. Whaddaya think? Pretty impressive, eh? Relative.it is all relative. September 14, 2016.

Travel inspiration blog with families in mind. Wednesday, August 15, 2012. We rented a car from budget. I find the US rental car chains overseas have great rates. We paid 188 euros for about 9 days. Next stop was Lagos in the south of portugal. We were thrilled to leave the city and get out to the countryside. This was also the first homeaway style we had rented. We wanted to try renting a condo with a full kitchen for a week and it was so affordable! They even had the nerve to turn it off at night!

Yesterday couldn't have been a better day to mark 7 years. So I should explain that, I've finally "settled down" a bit and signed an actual lease here in beautiful Bend instead of living life on the road so much. Over the previous 7 years, I'm guessing that I averaged 200 different. How did I choose Bend? Yes, it's me&...
