Travels with my camera in Oz. Photos and words from a roving retiree. Off to the Pigsty. March 13, 2017. What a name for a place that we found quite delightful! Though I must admit reading about other peoples walks to this area the weather is not always as good as we had it – though the walkers after us had it even better. Bullfrog Tarns on Moolight Ridge. Bullfrog Tarns on Moolight Ridge. Looking back from Moonlight Ridge. Garden on Hill One. The Hppo and La Perouse. Pigsty Ponds and Reservoir Lakes.

Travels with my baby | Have baby, will travel
Travels with my baby. Have baby, will travel. 65 The waiting game. [Manchester Museum]. 22 February, 2011 by travelswithmybaby. I am almost 40 weeks pregnant. I haven’t the heart to tell her that the medical profession may see it differently. If she doesn’t get a wriggle on soon it’ll be the Oxytocin drip for her; a tidal wave of chemical hormones designed to dislodge her no matter how bloody-minded she feels like being. God, I’m good at creating bloody-minded children. I should get some sort of award.
Travels with my blog
Travels with my blog. Berlin is too big for me. After having lived in a big capital almost all my life, I have acquired a taste for smaller places. Thus I would not choose to live in Berlin, although I find it is a very interesting city. It has a lot of museums, which is important for me, and a lot of green parks and open spaces, which is important for everybody, I think. There is water all around and this is very pleasant, of course. Caputh not Kaputt, Lehnin not Lenin. Eisleben is the city where Luther...

Travels With My Can
Travels With My Can. Thursday, 1 May 2014. We had got to Zeebrugge with just over an hour in hand so decided to take a look at the beach. Wide sandy beach, a lot of people there on this windy and rainy day as it was a bank holiday (1 May). Difficult to find somewhere to park. A strong gust of wind send café chairs tumbling. Windy, damp, blowy day. The children on the promenade were enjoying it. Wednesday, 30 April 2014. A Flying in Nancy. The heavy rain stopped as we arrived in Nancy. Ndash; we always ea...

Travels With My Dad. Death is the end of life; ah, why should life all labour be? What follows is my final assignment for a Literary Nonfiction course I was taking at the time. I bet they laughed and handed over a check for 10,000 dirham (three and a half dirham being around $1), because I doubt much more money th...
