Friday, June 01, 2007. During our last month, with the end in sight, we became more and more ready to head back home to our friends and family. It was a strange feeling getting onto an aeroplane for the tenth time and to feel as excited about seeing my home again as I was about seeing the cow-filled streets of India, or the coconut-milk-enriched people of Thailand. Friday, January 26, 2007. Apparently room 38 (right) was used for Leonardo DiCaprio's room (the interior, I think). Our room was No. 40 (left). We were a bit worried that it would be a complete dive (as it was in the film) but our room was big, with the highest ceilings we've seen for a while! After spending four years cultivating a very healthy debt to The Student Loan Company at the University of East Anglia, I have been working hard to earn some cash to put towards this little jaunt around the planet. I hope we do get round to uploading lots of photos and make little comments along the way. Even if no-one else, at least mum can check up on me!
