Watching Our Children Grown. Wednesday, July 16, 2014. Investiture came around again and it was Blake's last year as an Eager Beaver. He did so well with reciting the Lord's Prayer and singing. Samantha did great reciting her aim and motto as well as singing. The Eager Beaver field trip this year was a field trip to a fire station. We visited the busiest station in the state of Kansas! We got a complete tour of the facility and even had to move out of the way because they got a call! Spring Break and MOA.

Friday, December 26, 2008. Christmas morning brought clear weather, about 45 degrees, so we took a walk in downtown Chattanooga. We did this last year too so it may become a tradition. At the end of the walk we let the boys out of the stroller to walk the pier and they both loved that. Andrew was nervous walking on the metal grating on the pier because he didn't like seeing the water beneath him. We are used to having a digital camera where you can take as many as you want and then delete (like that happens) the ones that aren't good. Thursday, October 23, 2008. Besides walking they are beginning to use words. Most are hard to understand except through context. Words include "kitty cat, fish (gold fish crackers), car, truck, woof woof, boo" and many more words that they say the first syllable only such as 'ba" for ball. Their love of reading is growing. Monday, May 04, 2009. Travel with 7 Poeple. So are you wondering how it's possible to travel with 7 people in one minivan? First you buy some Starbucks coffee for those that are grouchy or tired. Next you pack an ice chest full of snacks, lunch, and drinks. You'll still have to stop at McDonalds or Dariy Queen to use the restroom and have a treat. Then you need a DVD player to keep them from asking "are we there yet? Or "I'm hungry.". Enjoy this short video showing our seating arrangement in the van.

Everything you wanted to know about the Sneads. Monday, January 10, 2011. Preston Carter has arrived! Preston Carter Snead was born on New Years' Day at 9:26 am! Long story short, we rushed to the hospital (with contractions coming about 4 minutes apart) after Gramme and Granddad got to the house (for when big brother woke up). I got all hooked up, and they prepped the operating room and Preston made his appearance AND was the first baby born at the hospital in 2011! Thanks to everyone that came to visit!

We attended the 1st Annual Classic Car Rally and Parade on August 10th (also our 11th anniversary! And I have to say it was so much fun! The kids kept cool with flavor ice, we enjoyed brisket, sausage wraps, music, and homemade ice cream. Not to mention the fabulous company of a community of people that is so very dear to my heart!
