Needing your help on music recs! January 8th, 2011. I've already been given some excellent pointers, but I need more! I've been horribly out of touch with music for years due to not being able to afford any, but lately people have been giving me fancy iTunes giftcards. Hooray! What do you like? Muse (before latest album, which is awful). The Apples in Stereo. Depeche Mode (mostly old, but I really enjoyed their last two albums). Jewel, old school. The Legendary Pink Dots (hit and miss). Is a great album.

I spent a pleasant few hours weeding the yard while eating blackberries and galia melon (which I correctly surmised was a cross of honeydew and cantaloupe, just from the smell), and Val and I headed to the river to watch the sunset. I shall have a lie down soon, but I must stay focused for now so that I may partake of tea and cookies.
