A guaranteed way to fail the company drug test | fides quaerens intellectum
https://trepidatious.wordpress.com/2013/02/01/a-guaranteed-way-to-fail-the-company-drug-test
A guaranteed way to fail the company drug test. This entry was posted on February 1, 2013, in Musings. Of a carrot cake, with praline filling and cinnamon cream cheese frosting. I frosted them all on our coffee table, which is the largest slab of “counter space” in our house. I’ve made a few more celebratory cakes since then, but suffice to say? I am buttercream’d out. My counter space, half of which is actually the stovetop). A shameless opportunity to show my puffin plates). Egg yolks one at a time?

Places I Spent the Night: 2012 Edition. This entry was posted on December 31, 2012, in Musings. Kansas City, MO. This was the first year in five (I believe) that I did not go to Chicago, and I might as well buy a permanently-recurring seat on flights to Denver. 2013, please bring me some international travel! 3 thoughts on “ Places I Spent the Night: 2012 Edition. Lindsey: The bag she got you … a YEAR ago? YOU STILL HAVE IT? Katie: Not all of us make chocolate cakes at the alarming rate you do. Patrick: Terrifying. At the terrifying rate you do. Snow baby | fides quaerens intellectum
https://trepidatious.wordpress.com/2013/02/21/snow-baby
This entry was posted on February 21, 2013, in Musings. Last night I went to the Redbox down the street wearing pink slip on shoes and orange polka-dot socks. Oh, and pajama pants. Why, you ask? Have to be there. So today I am grateful to be home, rather than snowed in at work (inevitable) despite the knee-high snow I get to eventually dig my car out from. But that’s all later. This morning, there were dutch babies. From The Wednesday Chef. Baked Apple Dutch Baby. 5 tablespoons butter, melted, divided.

Straightforward Digressions: November 2010
http://nic-eric.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Straightforward Digressions- Or what happens when a husband and wife share the same blog. Wednesday, November 24, 2010. I love Thanksgiving. It's my favorite holiday. I've been trying to decide why this is, and I've come up with a couple of reasons (over-analyzing yet again). 2 Thanksgiving marks the beginning of party season, and being an avid party thrower, I like that I can savor the day and still look forward to more, since boring ol' January is still eons away. Tomorrow, I will not be playing footba...
All Chalked Up: Family of four
http://allchalkedup.blogspot.com/2011/04/family-of-four.html
Wednesday, April 27, 2011. Every once in a while I stop what I'm doing and remember that I have a family of four. It's crazy to think that I'm in this stage of life with two kids. This picture was one of those fun reminders. It's so fuzzy, but I LOVE it! Johnny took it the other morning with his phone when we were all in bed together hanging out and too lazy to get out and stay out of bed. I have so much to be thankful for and I am so blessed to have such a wonderful family! It stinks and is so SO Hard!

Straightforward Digressions- Or what happens when a husband and wife share the same blog. Thursday, April 28, 2011. I was invited to the birthday party of one of my students this afternoon. The benefit of teaching at a neighborhood school is that it was a two minute detour from my commute home. In addition to continuing to connect with my student's family, I was also invited to watch him and his bff (also in my class) compete for my attention doing flips and twists. Monday, April 18, 2011. Friday, May 27, 2011. My munchkins and I.can't get them to sit still long enough to take a decent picture! Told them to say "cheese" and this is what I got! It was Maya's nap time.reason why she is sucking her thumb in just about all of these. And this little man just LOVES to read. Look at his crossed legs. He looks so sophisticated, almost like he should be reading a newspaper or something. Haha, I know what you mean about pictures! Your munchkins are getting so big.they are adorable! 20 years of being "Not Last". Monday, August 10, 2015. Yesterday, I went out for a walk with my mum and dad. It was a beautiful walk but it took us rather a long time to do and so, with chatting in the garden included, we were probably in baking sunshine for the best part of 6 hours. When they left I was feeling a combination of depression and hyperactivity. So lovely to see them and they are doing OK but things were worrying me and I had an evening of sulking - up until about midnight. In order to then ...
