Tri-ing The Best I Can

Tri-ing The Best I Can. Race Results and Recaps. Saturday, January 3, 2015. Hi all. Remember me? You'll have to excuse my lack of posts these last few months but I have been in a hole. A dark and self loathing hole. Meredith, captain of my Swim Bike Mom Ambassador Team, recently wrote about this exact same thing, only she refers to it as her "cave". You can read about it here. Yep, that's exactly where I've been. Besides thoroughly enjoying the holidays that is, I'll just point you to my. Hard course wit...

Tri-ing Times Ahead

Triathlon race blog and other insights into the triathlon lifestyle. Monday, May 18, 2015. Cascade Lake Duathlon Race Report. This year I had special motivation to do well. I won my age group last year so I considered myself a defending champion of sorts. Even though I "aged up" this year I still felt like the title was mine to defend. This guy was motoring! Let's just say I was hoping he was over 55! Just as I got to the base of the ridge another guy in my age group passed me! Well now we have a race!

Tri-ing to be Athletic

Going Funny for Money. Sunday, August 9, 2015. I am an Olympic (Distance) Triathlete! My recap of the 2015 Seafair triathlon. There's something to be said for making goals. This was me in January of 2014:. However, I gave myself a small caveat that I might wait until 2015 in order to pair it with my big birthday. The transition area was filled with mostly super-fit and experienced triathletes, me, and one guy who was not up to speed on all the finer details of the course. How did that happen? At the time...

Tri-ing to Keep Warm

Tri-ing to Keep Warm. The misadventures of a triathlete from the 49th state. Customized and Personalized Coaching. Sunday, December 29, 2013. Rotorua Half Ironman Race Report - December 14, 2013. After spending a week in Dunedin on the south island of New Zealand, I flew to Auckland on the 12. And met Mark on his arrival from Alaska. We spent the night in Auckland and hit the road for Rotorua after a leisurely start our day and a fairly lengthy quest for breakfast. At the race venue now, there was a laye...

We are all wanderers on this earth.

Upgrade to paid account! We are all wanderers on this earth. Our hearts are full of wonder, and our souls are deep with dreams. Day 6 - Day 9 (Busan). Apr 26th, 2014 at 10:52 PM. Busan, the 2nd biggest city in South Korea. We took the train to Busan from Suncheon. I think it took around 2 hours. Illegally boarded the second train (we needed to transfer) to Busan and didn't get caught! No complaints. Contrary to popular belief, im actually very low maintenance. as long as its clean! Tri-ing to Stand Still

Tri-ing to Stand Still. The people who make impossible things happen believe that the only difference between possible and impossible is time." - Derek Garcia. Thursday, November 17, 2016. Am I Planting Smaller Trees? I am writing this from Tempe Arizona where in 3 days the 15th running of Ironman Arizona will commence. * tri-ing *

The true story of training for the triathlon with fibromyalgia. Tuesday, July 21, 2015. It's official. A bit ago, I decided to challenge myself again with the Chicago Triathlon. This time, I would go easy on myself, take on half of what I tackled before, and do the Sprint. I made plans to start training about two weeks ago. I forced myself to get in the pool yesterday. I didn't know how I would. I am honestly surprised I was able to get out of my house and to the gym. I have not swam in almost two years.

Marta's Tri Blog: No Limits. Thursday, July 25, 2013. Wow life has been so crazy busy since kids are on summer vacation that I can't believe we are at the end of July. Where has the time gone? We are so excited and it is crazy to think that I will have 3 girls! My little guy, Gavin, handled it very well considering he really wanted a baby brother.
