I have been struggling just to maintain one blog amid the craziness of life and just don’t think that I can maintain two blogs – and maintain them well. And, I'm not just saying that. I truly * LOVE* those kids! And, I have to admit, I am darn proud that I have had a hand in forming the athletes they are growing up to be. Clearly, genetics plays a big part in what your athletic journey will look like but what about the kind of sportsman you are? It was absolutely awesome!

I am an Athlete. Sunday, May 31, 2009. It was an interesting day. After I set up my transition area, it started to rain. I have a rain plan for triathlons, that includes putting my stuff into 2 1/2 gal Ziploc bags. There was no forecast for rain! This is my third year doing this race and I was still crazy nervous.
