Kelly and I have known each other since we looked like this:. For weeks now, we had been hearing about this small restaurant near us in a town called Tequesta called Hog Snappers. Known for its excellent seafood, small seating area and massive wait times, we came prepared to wait an hour or so for our table with three bottles of wine. We sta...

England Eats: Brother from Another Mother
http://englandeats.blogspot.com/2010/09/brother-from-another-mother.html
Thursday, September 16, 2010. Brother from Another Mother. Joey and I have been friends since high school. Back when I had awful acne and he had bleached blonde tips. Joey escorting my mom down the aisle. Needless to say, I love this kid. He’s the brother I never had. What is great about Joey, other than his incredible sense of humor, witty comebacks and humungous heart, is that he is a great cook. As in OUTSTANDING. Beer brauts with onions and peppers. Steak fries with Old Bay Seasoning and Parmesan.

Monday, August 30, 2010. My Love Affair with Lasagna. Who doesn’t love lasagna? I think what makes lasagna so special, other than the feeling of familiarity it brings, is that there are about one million different variations of the dish. Whether it’s ricotta, cottage cheese, eggplant, sausage, chicken or ground beef, you can’t go wrong. There are so many ways to take this dish and make it your own, and I that is what I love about it. 1 box lasagna noodles, cooked and slightly cooled. Salt, to taste.

Friday, September 10, 2010. New Classic: Baked Chicken with Tzaviki and Warm Naan. A few weeks ago, I was watching. How to Cook Like an Iron Chef. First thing is to make the sauce. I then place the cucumbers in a strainer over a small bowl and sprinkle with salt (this helps to pull the water from the cucumber so that you don’t get a watery sauce). I let this sit in my refrigerator for a few hours, overnight if you can. I place the Naa...
