Twelve Weddings

My summer journal as an Evolution Events intern. Saturday, April 24, 2010. I know it sounds cliche but it seriously feels like my freshman year of college just began yesterday. I thought my high school years went fast, but it moved at a turtle's pace compared to how fast college goes. Seriously, I only posted 6 times on here- that's how fast it flew by! I'm going to post a few pictures from the past year which kind of outlines different things I've gotten to do since being here. Giraffe at Como Zoo.

My summer journal as an Evolution Events intern. Friday, April 2, 2010. This is my first attempt at a song, so no judging! I love your new blog. I LOVE your song. Your vocals are fantastic and so is the guitar. April 2, 2010 at 7:50 PM. This comment has been removed by the author. April 2, 2010 at 7:53 PM. Twelve Weddings: Dear Jeremy

http://www.trustingtheunseen.blogspot.com/2010/03/dear-jeremy.html

My summer journal as an Evolution Events intern. Sunday, March 21, 2010. I have decided to dedicate this blog to you because of your lack of faith in my blog. In doing so, I'd like to reminisce about the many times we've had together. I don't think anyone in the history of the world has been teased more than I have by you. Unfortunately, I also feel like you will think you have the liberty of teasing me until I die. Memory #1. You meet the family and we instantly "bond" because you were toasty. Thank you...

Twelve Weddings: September 2009

http://www.trustingtheunseen.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html

My summer journal as an Evolution Events intern. Tuesday, September 29, 2009. We skipped fall and arrived at winter. So, I left Minnesota thursday evening to about 80 degree weather and came back sunday night to pouring rain and freezing cold temperatures! I'm not sure exactly how cold it was, but I had shorts and a t-shirt on and that was not enough clothes! Tonight was one of our first real musical practices for the "Fantasticks". It was a choreography only rehearsal and I had a blast! This past weeken...

The Brandt Blog: June 2010

http://stephaniebrandt.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html

Tuesday, June 29, 2010. On Saturday we went to a local dairy farm for their annual "Dairy Days." It was VERY hot but we had a good time, and luckily got there early so we didn't have to wait in long lines for food or other activities. Here are some pics from our day:. The "Corn Box" was probably their favorite thing; they could've played in here all day. They actually had 4 of these huge corn boxes, and it was such a great idea and good alternative to sand! Here is Emily making a snow, I mean corn angel.

Saturday, March 12, 2011. March 12, 1995. We laughed and joked about what an odd dream that was. Fast forward 16 years. Married for almost 11 years, 2 kids, house in the suburbs. The Brandt Blog: August 2011

http://stephaniebrandt.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html

Monday, August 29, 2011. The view from our room:. We were on our own most of the time, but we did have two company dinners. The first one was kind of a luau theme and everyone got a lei. I thought this table full of leis was crazy! Our good friends Brad, Ben, and Alicia that we hung out with much of the time. The spa was amazing (got a massage and pedicure),. And dinner at the Kamuela Provision Company was breathtaking. We certainly had some fancy foods while we were there. Here are a few of the item...

The Brandt Blog: May 2011

http://stephaniebrandt.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html

Sunday, May 8, 2011. For the past 34 years, I have been blessed with the most amazing mom. So on Mother's Day, here are 34 reasons why I love my mom:. She taught me how to sew. (Too bad I never really caught on that well.) Now she just sews stuff for me. She has tea parties with my girls. She never missed an activity of mine growing up - games, concerts, . . . if I was in something, she was there. She tried her best to get me to like vegetables. She always puts everyone else above herself. Crazy, I know.

The Brandt Blog: More Fall Fun

http://stephaniebrandt.blogspot.com/2011/11/more-fall-fun.html

Wednesday, November 2, 2011. One evening we went to some friends' house and made caramel apples. Super fun and yummy. Thanks, Matt and Sally! Mom and I took the girls to the new playground at Elm Creek Park in Maple Grove last week. I wish I would've gotten here this summer, it was amazing! I had heard from a friend that it has so much stuff that you've never seen at other parks, and she was right! My girls didn't want to leave. We'll definitely be back here a bunch next summer. Check out my other blog.

Wednesday, September 22, 2010. This was my Wednesday today:. 6:45am: Awoke to Bri saying, "Mommy, I ready! Wow, she actually stayed in her bed all night for the second night in a row. The "special treat" we told them they'd get if they stayed in their beds all night for 5 nights must be working! 7:15am: Preheated oven for egg bake, planned to put it in oven at 7:45 in order to be ready in time for MOMS group. Got in shower, got ready, feeling pretty on-time this morning. 2:30pm: Picked Bri up at preschool.

Tuesday, September 7, 2010. Andy Andrews latest book, THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT. THE BOY WHO CHANGED THE WORLD. This is the companion book to THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT. Written for children, the book relates the story of how the lives of Nobel laureate Norman Borlaug, inventor George Washington Carver, and Vice President Henry Wallace were influenced and interwoven by decisions and choices that were made around them and by them. It's core focus comes from the message in THE BUTTERFLY EFFECT. It has some great brai...

Monday, May 30, 2011. Long Time NO Post! Didn't realize how really long it had been since I had posted something. FaceBook seems to have taken over for the past several months. But, here I am. http://susanstearnsblog.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html

Sunday, January 31, 2010. I Can't Believe It is Almost February! Yes, almost February! Amazingly, swimming and diving in the river. It is hard to imagine that they were finding any food, with the water so cold. It is a beautiful, clear, CRISP sunny day here. Twelve Degrees! At the local Dutchess County Airport. Pretty darn cold! Too cold to want to go outside and enjoy the weather! Sunday, January 24, 2010. Plus, Hayden is much closer to the ground! So, I hope that means he will go with me again. Som...

trusting the muse | & other heresies

August 2, 2015. By trusting the muse. Why do so few fiction-writing handbooks even mention tense, let alone treat it in depth? One exception is Samuel R Delany’s. 2005) An expert on technique, he talks tense to an interviewer. ‘The simple present has only a single, distanced tone’ in his opinion. Trusting the Wind | Will you trust the Wind?

Will you trust the Wind? Not mother of the year. My daughter likes to play this game in the car. It goes like this…. Pepper: Mom do you want to play a game. Me: sure, what do you want to play? To call this a “game” is sort of lame. It’s basically naming cars, like, “there is a blue truck,” or “motorcycle.” When Pepper plays she just yells out cars that she sees followed by a very loud and very excited, “I Win! For 30 of the last 48 months I have been pregnant….and still counting. The persis...This is exa...
