But knowing His gifts will never stop, and smiling because of it. 908 babysitters my kids love. 910 a new beginning with fresh hope. 911 two beautiful days in the middle of January, where the windows can be opened and the house aired out. 912 Benjamin sitting in the front of the Target cart for the first time. 913 letting Brenna pick out all the parts of a dinner meal at Kroger. http://thepeapodfour.blogspot.com/2013/01/eight-hundred-ninety-five-through-nine.html
Monday, January 14, 2013. Eight Hundred Ninety Five Through Nine Hundred Seven. It seems monumentous that I've crossed the nine hundred mark. On my way to one thousand and giving thanks. 895 The way Benjamin pulls the fabric of his pjs to his mouth as he gets ready to go to sleep. 896 The Proper Pie Company. 897 Teaching Carrie dot to dot. 898 playing fun games at the table during dinner. 899 when Daniel cracks himself up. 900 sharing Bible study with Brenna. 903 my new boots. 907 finishing a book.

The Sharp Life: May 2015
http://thesharplife.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 03, 2015. A Few Thoughts This Beautiful Sunday Morning. I'm sitting here in my comfy bed watching the news before church. I'm still sleepy after a late night last night, but I'm wide awake. So here are a few thoughts. 3 For $300 million, I would let someone pound the heck out of me too. This boxing match is insane. Insane. People paid $10,000 per person to watch two small men beat each other up. I do not understand. Well, time for church. That is all. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Sharp Life: HE CAME!
http://thesharplife.blogspot.com/2013/12/he-came.html
Wednesday, December 25, 2013. As I sit here in my bed at 6am, after a completely inadequate 6 hours of sleep, my mind is working hard. I just dosed Maggie within an inch of her life. She has a terrible cold. As I was gathering her medicine, Gracie came strolling in, followed by my Dad. When I peeked in Maggie's door, she was awake and watching a movie. I'm not sure where to start this post. I have so much in my mind. Christmas, depression, grief, death, parenting. Merry Christmas to us. On the other side...

The Sharp Life: June 2015
http://thesharplife.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 03, 2015. With Glory Just Around the Corner. I couldn't get everything right. In addition, I was not achieving well.I had nothing to hide behind. This was a gift. With a light shining on my inadequacy I needed something I couldn't produce. Grace. These are the words I needed to hear today. That you feel you just can't recover. There is no going back. How can you even be in the same room with that person again? Do you know what I have learned from these saints? What can they do? Our gifting...

The Sharp Life: So I'll Remember
http://thesharplife.blogspot.com/2015/03/so-i-remember.html
Saturday, March 21, 2015. Today, I got to play with a doll house. I played with a doll house with the sweetest little old lady name Sarah. We cleaned it and then we put all the pieces back into the house. I handed her pieces of furniture and then together we would decide where they should be placed and Mrs Sarah would place them. Should. Then we would giggle together and fold our hands under our chins and smile. When we were done, we plugged it in and I took pictures. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The Sharp Life: So Much Sorrow, but With Hope
http://thesharplife.blogspot.com/2014/03/so-much-sorrow-but-with-hope.html
Thursday, March 20, 2014. So Much Sorrow, but With Hope. My Nanny is dying. I call my mother's mother "Nanny". I was twelve before I knew that a full time, paid childcare employee was called the same thing. My oldest daughter is named after her. Margaret Sarah. Nanny's name is Sarah Lou. She had red hair most of my life and was the most competent woman who ever lived. Nanny taught me how to be a wife. Never did a husband have a better, more dedicated help mate. He valued her opinion and sought it...The c...

The Sharp Life: Thankfulness
http://thesharplife.blogspot.com/2014/09/thankfulness.html
Thursday, September 25, 2014. Tonight I am thankful for many things. In the midst of all that, I am thankful. Thankful that I live in the age of dental implants. Otherwise I would be the poor lady with no teeth and terrible halitosis. Thankful that I get to be a part of a restaurant that has a voice for the gospel in my town. Thankful that people, for the most part, love being there and use us a gathering spot. Thankful that, but for a very unkind people, we can make people smile and be happy. Inner Life...

The Sharp Life: Sainsbury's
http://thesharplife.blogspot.com/2014/03/sainsbury.html
Tuesday, March 18, 2014. We went to the Cherry Tree for Sunday roast." - I can picture it in my mind. I know where the bathrooms are and what the paintings look like. I met a lady in the check out lane at the grocery store." I know where the cereal aisle is and where to find the cheese section. I remember the smell of it. All of these things make England a real place to me. When I think of England, I have memories, not knowledge. My complete lack of ability takes me so close to the very throne of God tha...
