Life Actually: October 2008
http://nadreaufamily.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Thoughts on faith, fashion, and my fabulous little family. Saturday, October 18, 2008. Weekend in New Orleans. You may remember that we had planned to visit my sis in New Orleans on Labor Day, only to be foiled by Gustav. This past weekend, we finally made it there! Thanks to Columbus sailing the ocean blue in 1492, Perry and I had a day off from school, so we headed to the Big Easy. On Sunday, Lana and Luke took us on a tour of a couple of neighborhood parks. And we had a great time hanging out at the f...

Life Actually: What Not to Wear?
http://nadreaufamily.blogspot.com/2008/09/what-not-to-wear.html
Thoughts on faith, fashion, and my fabulous little family. Monday, September 29, 2008. What Not to Wear? OK, ladies. Here I am living in this house full of boys, and I find myself needing fashion advice. This is where you come in! You know I loved it! I went with a pretty basic black dress, and I've decided on the shoes (black patent, chosen mostly b/c they flatter the legs). Now I need to accessorize. We all know that accessories are very important to the black dress, so this really is a dilemma! I thin...

the Andrews Family: First UGA game, and the unveiling of UGA VII, and potty training
http://atlantaandrews.blogspot.com/2008/09/first-uga-game-and-unveiling-of-uga-vii.html
Monday, September 1, 2008. First UGA game, and the unveiling of UGA VII, and potty training. We made it through the first football game. It wasn't easy, but we heard the bugle player, and saw all of our seatmates, and watched the crowning of UGA VII. That was especially hard, as UGA VI was in UGAdom for our whole marriage. Kris's bachelor party was held at the South Carolina game, which was UGA VI's first showing. And then of course UGA VI died not long after Kris. Posted by the Andrews. First UGA game, ...

Wednesday, September 10, 2008. So last Saturday, was a little warm . . . to say the least. But we had a good time. While most people try to recreate their living rooms at the tailgate site - there were plenty of folks there with televisions, satellites, and comfortable chairs, we went for the bathroom. On the cheek). What a day! Posted by the Andrews. Wednesday, September 10, 2008. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Follow me on Twitter. Just like his Daddy. Chillin in the USVI.

Tuesday, August 12, 2008. Grand Cayman Adventure, Day 4: Turtle Farm, Beach and Stingray City. We went back to the beach - this time with Joseph's life vest thank goodness - and swam like fish in the ocean. Jake and I made a "Joseph" sandwich, which Joseph just thought was hilarious! After we got tired of swimming, the bucket brigade took to patrolling the beach. We visited the Turtle Farm. Joseph was very excited about the opportunity to touch a turtle. Posted by the Andrews. the Andrews Family: Visiting Dallas Forth Worth - Friday
http://atlantaandrews.blogspot.com/2009/01/visiting-dallas-forth-worth-friday.html
Monday, January 19, 2009. Visiting Dallas Forth Worth - Friday. Joseph, Lemuel and I made the trek to Dallas for the long weekend. It was our first time visiting Aunt Kelly and Uncle Kyle. Mamoo and Nana claim that they have "the most comfortable house in the world," so we were there to test the limits of their comfort - we brought noise, toys and lots of mess! Posted by the Andrews. Monday, September 22, 2008. As you probably know, Joseph and I headed cross country, 1900 miles, to see the Bulldawgs take on the Sun Devils in Tempe. And as you can probably guess, we had a blast! First thing when we got to Arizona, we got our vacation car and headed to Scottsboro where we visited the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park. Visiting other cities reminds you what a raw deal we get here in Georgia with our public parks. This place had a replica 1:4 train that you could actually ride for $2!

Sunday, February 22, 2009. Top 10 for Brittany. So I went to a baby shower yesterday, and before I went, I was trying to think what helpful advice I could pass on to the new mom to be. So I came up with this top 10 list of things I wish someone had told me. Then left it on the counter. So I figured a blog post was the next best thing! Top 10 Things I wish someone had told me before I had a baby:. 1 Babies use a LOT of diapers. Those boxes from Costco look big, they actually only last about two weeks.

the Andrews Family: Fort Worth Zoo
http://atlantaandrews.blogspot.com/2009/01/fort-worth-zoo.html
Monday, January 19, 2009. After spending a day looking at farm animals, we decided to head over to the zoo and explore our wilder side. The wildest two animals may have been with us though. . This big rock has a rock lizard on it. Joseph ran straight up to the rock and started to climb up, until he saw the lizard and nearly jumped out his skin! Then everyone petted the rock lizard, just to make sure there were no hard feelings. . There was a parakeet habitat, where you could buy a stick to feed the birds.
