TWINS on the Loop. Our GB "TWINS" and the Journey on America's Great Loop. Tennessee, Mississippi, now Alabama. Twins is currently attending the Fall Rendezvoux of AGLCA at the Joe Wheeler State Park on Wheeler Lake off the Tennessee River. There are about 100 loopers here and about 40 Looper boats. We were late comers as we decided to bring the boat down here from our winter berth at Aqua Harbor at the start of the Tenn Tom waterway. It's been a good ride so far. We've now crossed the 1000 mile mark.

We tied up on the Ottawa FREE Wall for two nights.free electricity (air conditioning) and water for our tanks after week on the water. Very nice town.lots of activity with all the local boats and parties on the river. Found a good party store to stock up on wine and canned beer.the wine cellar is full! Great weather.hot and sunny. Tomorrow is Labor Day and we will move on down the river. Watch out for the prop wash! A very hot day!

We waited over an hour for the fog to lift. Maybe Favorite Anchorage on the Tennessee River. 3 days beached here and our 33rd anniversary too! Waiting for the fog to break at Chicamauga Lake and Dam.
