This past weekend, we started writing an application that stores chess positions. At school, we play chess with friends in between classes and after lunch. We often find ourselves ditching an interesting game in order to be on time to the next class. So, one of our friends, William. Gave us an idea to write a mobile application that allows us to easily store chess games in a format that can be shared and viewed on all of our phones. We decided to format exported strings as FENs.
