Sunday, November 2, 2008. Naviguesser's off yacht activities. Meanwhile in between races, naviguesser and his darling wife have been keeping the nav skills in order by taking out the Mandurah time trials champion is his stink boat. Another nice little trophy. Been a big year for these! I think thats trophy number 7. Friday, February 27, 2009. 1st geograph race week 2009. Looks like tonight could be very messy! Yesterday we had a 1st and a third which pretty much said all we had to do today was start to take it out. We did better with what looks like a second over the line and another win on handicap. The stuff of legends. When one considers the other boats were stacked with rock stars flown in for the event to crew, this is awesome and were are somewhat happy with our performance. Tuesday, May 27, 2008. Race one down and our account has been opened, we manage a third in the YAH and a first in IRC :-). Out of six possible position in YAH and IRC the Mandurah boats took out five of them! Had a few wicked rain squalls go though the fleet, seen 28 knots on our wind indicator then it disappeared due to the increased pressure and horizontal rain :-P. Thursday, October 23, 2008. George Law 20th Sept. The george Law Race was a bit of eye opener, apparently. Unfortunately I was a no show due to a clash with winter navigation activities. Huge swells off the back of rottnest made skippers quite wide eyed as even the bigger yachts were tossed around like rubber ducks in a bathtub. Some narrative from the day:. Well that’s the GEORGE LAW FOUNDATION RACE done and dusted and what a day to be racing! Nav to Crew: Yes it does, GPS also has altititude!

Just north of Mindarie so not long now. ETA now pushed out to probably 6pm. The tracker is working again and they have been pushing hard this morning with a more favorable wind. At 12:08:33 hrs 2 secs, 15 minutes after we left the pen. This about 0.8 nm. To start organizing the tammy. Lift ready for us while we lowered sails, started the motor and headed home. So have my ribs that were broken during the impact. The keel was sent back to sydney and rebuilt and centrecase replaced with a new one. Mast went back in this morning.
