The Shoes Run 50: 5k Training: Week 4
http://shoesrun50.blogspot.com/2016/02/5k-training-week-4.html
Monday, February 29, 2016. 5k Training: Week 4. 126 miles @ 9:37, 6 x 60s hills @ 6:45 [4:00 recovery], 2.95 miles @ 8:59. I brought my running gear to work with me Monday morning so I could take advantage of a large hill on the medical campus. The pace felt very manageable for each hill climb, probably because of the substantial recovery period between each interval. I easily could have managed another 2-3 reps. Snow storm. I knew it was coming. I was hoping to get out for another quick run Wedn...It sn...

Sunday, March 24, 2013. Rock CF half marathon race report and review. Today I completed half marathon #7. No PR, but I'm totally okay with that! The race took place in Grosse Ile, which is about 45ish minutes from the area we live. We hadn't picked up our race packets early, so Megan and I headed out at about 6:15. I think we both kind of felt like a PR would be nice, but knew that it might not be within reach. We decided to just run by feel and see what happened. We snapped a quick pic:. The sisters wer...

The Running Junkie: July 2014
http://www.running-junkie.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 31. A few hours after writing my last post. Where I said I liked bad runs (almost) as much as good ones, I went on a (very bad) run and quickly decided that this was totally untrue. So I hope you, reader, scoffed at my idiocy just as I did. During my five mile run yesterday evening, I:. Got lost, which is seriously difficult to do, given how straightforward my route was when I mapmyrunned it earlier. A better picture I found, on the web of the same. Today): 3 mile run, swim at Fuller.

Friday, June 20. 3 Mile Odyssey and Lunch in Canada. Before the post, here's a pretty picture of the sky from this morning's drive to work:. A Three Mile Odyssey. Yesterday I went on a 3 mile run- my first legit "run" since sometime in April(! But I am so happy to be running again, no matter the pain! Today at around noon, Austin and Matthew - my two fellow AmeriCorps at work - went to Canada for lunch! This is a pic I took from Windsor, looking at downtown Detroit buildings. Weird! Nick and I devoured i...
