ICT and RRE’s – iambaz47 (aka Simon)
https://iambaz47.wordpress.com/2015/05/24/ict-and-rres
A not-so-innocent bystander in the salubriousness of life. ICT and RRE’s. May 24, 2015. May 24, 2015. Thanks to my good friend Jason. There’s a lake hidden in a corner of Inner Mongolia that few people have ever seen in person. That’s because this is no ordinary lake it’s a horrifying window into the dark side of the tech industry. Never heard of RRE’s? And find out why they are more than just magnets. Much like every other product we integrate as necessity into our consumerist lives.

Meet week 9 and I have absolutely no idea what happened – iambaz47 (aka Simon)
https://iambaz47.wordpress.com/2015/05/24/meet-week-9-and-i-have-absolutely-no-idea-what-happened
A not-so-innocent bystander in the salubriousness of life. Meet week 9 and I have absolutely no idea what happened. May 24, 2015. May 24, 2015. So, I looked back through my feed and found a Blog from Kel. Where she discusses building knowledge from connections. Importantly, she raises the notion of an online student’s perspective of ‘connectivity’, or rather, lack thereof. I just need and external link to fulfil the requirements. Wait got one (and its legit). Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

A not-so-innocent bystander in the salubriousness of life. I am going backwards. May 24, 2015. Yep I am back-blogging and running back through the weeks and catching up. So here’s Week 13 (next week) in a 100 words (or thereabouts) summary. Even though it hasn’t happened yet, my blog feed will be again, overwhelmed with a constant stream of fellow awesome student’s blog I will not have time to read. I am aligning tasks with assessment this week. It will be awesome. Something to Blog on about. You are com...

Chipper – iambaz47 (aka Simon)

A not-so-innocent bystander in the salubriousness of life. May 24, 2015. May 24, 2015. Turning now to posts with a slightly more chipper theme. Whilst on prac, I, much like many of us, are in a new year level of teaching, which brings with it, exposure to new resources that are pitched at these specific age groups. Case in point, preppies. What an awesome age and despite having worked with 5 year olds previously, teachin’ ‘em aint nuthin like aidein ‘em. Thus far, for this age group, in my humble opinion:.

A not-so-innocent bystander in the salubriousness of life. May 29, 2015. Well that was cool. I had absolutely no idea that we could access online resources that included lesson plans and ideas in relation to teaching students about online safety – online…. I especially liked This One. What they don’t tell you about your first day of teaching – jodimichelle91
https://jodimichelle91.wordpress.com/2015/05/21/what-they-dont-tell-you-about-your-first-day-of-teaching
What they don’t tell you about your first day of teaching. What they don’t tell you about your first day of teaching. Have you ever wondered what the “wordpress this” button does? Well I just tested it out and it is pretty similar to what happens when you click to ‘reblog’ it. But on another note, the article which I have word pressed works in con unction with one I have previously reflagged from rachk195. I personally think the ballet flat statement is completely TRUE. my poor feet will never recover.

So Much Knowledge | Physical Technology
https://charmainegoodwin.wordpress.com/2015/03/31/so-much-knowledge
Horrible History →. During Week 4’s Learning Path, we were introduced and for some of us, reminded of one of the aspects of our teaching goals. Generally, all of us as future educators want our students to be the best they can be to become a lifelong learner and an active and responsible citizen in society. As successful educators, we want our students to obtain two types of knowledge:. What do we want students to know and understand? Example: Concepts, facts and procedures. See what you can find. I ...

https://iambaz47.wordpress.com/2015/05/24/asd
A not-so-innocent bystander in the salubriousness of life. May 24, 2015. The Deputy Principal of this school likes to gather together all of the Pre-Service Teachers every Monday morning for a ‘session’, whereby she discusses at length, various aspects of teaching that you may or may not, actually get to experience whilst on prac. There are plenty of free online EQ information sites one can investigate, but I did just note a fantastic, parent orientated blog that came through on a friend’s Facebook feed&...

A not-so-innocent bystander in the salubriousness of life. Week 10, Path 8, Point: 4 Getting on in online discussions spaces. May 24, 2015. May 24, 2015. I’ve also heard in recent weeks of some tensions between students on EDC3100 Facebook groups almost reaching flamewear standards. Why did this come about? What could be done to fix it/prevent it happening again? Would being better digital citizens help? Nothing short of disgraceful. Oh but wait, there’s more. Point 2: “. Meet week 9 and I have absolutel...

I am still going backwards – iambaz47 (aka Simon)
https://iambaz47.wordpress.com/2015/05/24/i-am-still-going-backwards
A not-so-innocent bystander in the salubriousness of life. I am still going backwards. May 24, 2015. May 24, 2015. Meet week 12 (last week) in a 100 words (or thereabouts) summary. 20 preps. Some are (almost) still little bubbas. Awesome mentor ex high school teacher of 14 years. It’s nothing like teaching a grade 3,4 or 6 class as I have previously. The kids are awesome. The orientation of the printed bell curve in relation to ability and behaviour is in landscape. I could work here full time.
