During the calm few days between christmas and new year's, we took a trip to san diego with my mom and dad. the kids LOVE staying in hotels (since it is the only place they are allowed to jump on beds! On saturday bella's daisy troop went to a biological wetland reserve in downtown long beach. they spent the afternoon picking up trash in the reserve and earned their coastal clean-up badge. Brooke, the gal leading their troop, was fabulous with them. she even brought them binoculars so they could bird watch from atop the reserve.
