I had a craving for chicken and waffles one day and decided to make the southern dish with a little twist. For the chicken, I seasoned it with Cajun spices. Breaded it with egg whites and whole wheat flour. Then baked it. Next I made a simple maple, red wine and plum syrup. Below is the recipe for the sweet potato waffles. 1 cup skim milk.
