Wednesday, June 11, 2008. Its a strange title but it still fits. I left Vancouver Sept. 14, 2007 on a sunny late afternoon for what was to be the greatest adventure if my life. That adventure has come and gone now. But its not the end. It really is only the beginning. I'm heading home 8 months (to the day) from when i started. Am i sad? Thursday, January 31, 2008. Damn, now i know why it takes SOOO long to travel in Indonesia. Woke up early this morning to catch my ferry from Pulau Batam to Sumatra. Ferry ride was uneventful. The shared taxi from the port to the city of Sepukang was a different story. The road, although paved, is filled with massive potholes that our driver kept dodging! Monday, February 25, 2008. Took me a little while to make it (about 30 min, and that includes the learning curve). Its my first vid, so be nice! No, it used to be a famous tourist destination before a flash flood ripped through in 2003. Why is it that i like to goto these natural disaster places? Anyways, this place is famous for its national park which has Orangutans!
