April | 2013 | Unfiltered, unprocessed
https://unprocessedme.wordpress.com/2013/04
Stay updated via RSS. Archive for April, 2013. The mind of a child. Posted: April 2, 2013 in kids. Tags: 90s soft rock. My four-year-old daughter said something really funny the other day that made me think again about how awesome kids are. She’s a constant stream of comedic gold, as a lot of four-year-olds are, but I’m just constantly amazed by how smart she is and how the mind of a child develops and responds to things that us grown-ups sort of take for granted. I really need to just take time every day to be thankful for the good things. Being appreciative of the fact that I even have a car to get me places makes traffic seem like a minor issue. Having an amazing little house that fits all my needs and more diminishes the fact that I may not have a lot of disposable income for things I don’t really need. 8220;Once you replace ne...

Stay updated via RSS. Archive for January, 2014. I’m a father, again. Sort of. Posted: January 21, 2014 in kids. Not getting a full night’s sleep. Cleaning up urine. Making sure my house is void of dangerous objects and chemicals. Constantly worrying about this little precious thing’s health and well-being. I don’t have a new baby. Well, in a way I do. I got a puppy! Posted: January 18, 2014 in my500words. Why would I want this store to have my number (or email, or whatever) for any reason, even if I wer...

Stay updated via RSS. Archive for March, 2013. A few things about being sick. Posted: March 29, 2013 in Health. It takes more to be normal. More coffee, more effort, more brain power. It’s a weird feeling, actually having to fight through it just to get something — anything — done. In fact, maybe I should just stick to whiskey-as-a-cure for everything that ails me. That’s what they did in the good ol’ days, right? And now for a funny, fuzzy story. I remember being quite sick one time when I was young and...

Unprocessed Health - Home
Nutrition and Wellness Consultant. Why do we need Unprocessed Health? Industrialized, processed "food" is created in a factory. Most of the nutrients have been stripped away, and chemicals and additives are added in. However, whole, unprocessed food is not created, it's grown. It is full of nutrients that our bodies can use to give us energy, support our immune system, and repair damaged cells. Factory food does just the opposite. There may be side affects of consuming unprocessed food:.

Mom: Unprocessed
Monday, January 3, 2011. So, I have begun a new blog with my old friend Amber. We will be writing about our struggles, suggestions, and successes with organic, natural, simple and unprocessed living. It should be an interesting blog since it is coming from 2 different voices - one that is already inclined towards all things hippy (that'd be me) and one that is more conventional (yet conscious). We have been friends since first grade! We're seen each other change a lot. Now it will be documented change.

If you had signed up for our email, you can do so again at the new site. We will not be posting here anymore. We’d love to see you there! I hesitated to click on the link. That my friend, Genevieve, had posted on her facebook page. Her post had a link to trailer for. I’m going to start by watching the movie, Food Inc. I’...D, I had an o...

The Unprocessed Project
Saturday, July 25, 2015. While in college, I spent a semester living abroad in Prague, Czech Republic. I will not say "studying" abroad because there was very little studying that took place during my stay. It is still to this day one of the best experiences of my life, and this city will always be special to me. This salad is the perfect side dish to take to that backyard cookout or pot luck dinner. 1 green pepper (red, yellow, or orange works too). 1/2 cup feta cheese. Makes about 4 cups. These peanut ...
