Wednesday, May 13, 2015. Notable Nebraskan - Faye Cox Rogers. In 4th grade the kids study Nebraska History. Their final project is a speech where they choose a notable Nebraskan and give a presentation. Dakota chose her Great, Great, Great Aunt Faye (who Allison Faye is named after). We are so proud of her - she did an awesome job! There was a 100% chance of rain in North Platte last weekend, and only 80% in Kearney, so we went to the NE Game and Parks Expo and had a ton of fun in the rain and cold!

Monday, July 28, 2014. Dakota and Hailey were busy at play practice, so Alli and I had lots of special one on one time these past 2 weeks. One of our fun activities was going to the fair. The Hougens of the Corn. Living and Loving it in Iowa! Wednesday, November 30, 2011. Getting Ready For Christmas. We put up our tree last night. Hope to decorate tonight or later this week. We put up 2 ornaments right away on the tree that Brooklyn got from relatives at the wedding. This bulb is from Uncle John who will forever call Brooklyn "Bob". If you are wondering why just ask Mike - its basically his fault. This ornament is from Mike's Aunt Mary. So cute and has her birth information on the back.

Tuesday, November 18, 2014. We made a super quick trip to Omaha to see the Howards and go to Vala's pumpkin patch. Alli won at the pig races! Hailey LOVES going through haunted houses. Entrance to haunted house that they went through at least 5 times! It took about 3 times through before she would go through the Squeezy Way!
