We meet on the third Wednesday of every month at 7:30pm in Orange County, CA. If you want to attend, please contact us for more details and directions. You can expect each meeting to have a theme. In the past we have done period desserts, Lenten foods, and tournament foods, to name a few examples. To find out what the next meeting's theme will be check see our upcoming events! We are guaranteed to have an expert opinion, or at least an opinion, that we can answer at the meeting or by email.

What makes a good period recipe? First rule, it has to taste good! Here are useful tested recipes. To submit your own recipe, contact us! 15th century French recipe for a chickpea puree. Fudge type candy made with pine nuts. This soup was used year round, including fasting times. This is basically a modified tagine with chicken, prunes, and apricots. A caramel and pine nut confection, similar to peanut brittle.
