Thursday, November 29, 2012. We also paid for someone to put in our counter tops and sinks. I installed the faucets and connected the plumbing underneath with my brother. Hall was out of town for the entire installation, but he gets to make up for it by completing our master shower upstairs that is in limbo (like studs are visible, concrete board is partially up). ;). My parents helped me install the back splash before Hall got home. It was a huge help. Cabinets refaced in Picket Fence by Martha stewart.

Thursday, August 1, 2013. The Inn at Willow Grove. Surrounding the house are several cottages. Some are larger than others. Each of these has also been beautifully renovated. We stayed in one of the cottages. It had beautiful linens, and tiles. Heated floors, the works. We showed up mid-week and literally had the entire place to ourselves. No one else was staying there until the weekend. It was amazing. This was our porch. That is the door to our room. Our turndown tray. Yummy! View out from our cottage.

We packed up what seems like the world's largest bag of swim supplies, headed to the pool, and played around a bit before he started. Our time slot came and the super sweet swim instructor, Miss Angie, came over said hi to Parker and off they went. Four seconds later the blood curdling screaming started. Luckily on the last day I had a camera handy so I could share this momentous occasion with everyone.

The event coordinators had all their equipment set up so kids (and adults) could touch and play with the trucks. It was a super well run event and we are already looking forward to participating next year! Just before the race started we ran into one of our closest friends, Sarah! We have learned this is his favorite corner of the crib and putting his feet through the slats is his preferred sleep position. He lives, breathes, and sleeps baseball. Literally.
