Vanessa Stone - Naked Words: September 2010
http://vanessastone-nakedwords.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Vanessa Stone - Naked Words. A blog all about loving words and celebrating typography. A birthday, the Imperial War Museum and a blown up car. It was my birthday yesterday and the one place I wanted to go was the Imperial War Museum. I think that why I hadn't been to the Imperial War Museum. I simply wasn't ready. I was just too young.and this birthday? I was 44, so no spring chicken. Add into the mix a birthday on 9/11 and the Imperial War Museum was just the place to go. Sitting room in the 1940's house.

Vanessa Stone - Naked Words. A blog all about loving words and celebrating typography. Prayers from Ayots St.Lawrence church, Hertfordshire. I had forgotten about these little pictures. I have been getting down to doing an uber back-up today and sifteing through some files, up they came through the ether. I took these a couple of years ago I think when we went to visit George Bernard Shaw's house at Shaw Corner. Ayot St. Lawrence church. Vanessa Stone - the Papercut Girl. Saturday, October 16, 2010.

http://timbudden.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
A medley of diverting discussions on all things art but most of all silk and paper cuttings. Monday, 14 May 2012. Inspiration comes to me in all kinds of shapes, forms and experiences. So what’s inspiring me at the moment? There were the rotted leaves with only their veins showing. Nature's own version of paper cutting. While at night the nightriders race their souped up bikes along the streets near here. Could they possibly be doing this! Finally - The Zen of motorcycle riding! I’m not sure how al...

A medley of diverting discussions on all things art but most of all silk and paper cuttings. Thursday, 14 June 2012. Butterflies are curious creatures. Do they have any sense of their previous existence as munching, crunching, gobbling caterpillars I wonder? Here are some new painted Butterfly paper cuttings approx A3 in size. These new butterfly paper cuttings incorporate the elements of Earth. Is where they come from and ultimately where they return to when they die. Earth and Fire dancing together.

Paper Perks: Art With a Heart
http://paperperks.blogspot.com/2011/07/art-with-heart.html
Sunday, July 17, 2011. Art With a Heart. Recently I was searching for paper artists online, and I came across the beautiful work of cut paper artist Vanessa Stone. After looking at her creations, I went to her blog. And read about an idea she had to give away a piece of her artwork in exchange for the recipient donating something to a favorite charity! I was fortunate enough to be the first to respond, and received this lovely papercut all the way from England! Many thanks, Vanessa! Once he grows up.".

Sunday, July 24, 2011. A Card for a Friend. I recently spent a few days at the summer home. Of a very gracious friend, and made this Thank You note for her. Her last name is Reynolds and this is her nickname for her home on Cape Cod. I wanted the card to reflect the beautiful hydrangeas. And roses around her house. Hope she liked it!
