Most of this material is on the VBR&S Timetable, but here I will go into a bit more detail, and sometimes explain my thinking behind the procedures. This is directional double track terratory. All trains keep to the right. Track no. 1 (East track) is the Northbound main and track no. 2 (West track) is the Southbound main. (Remember that you are always faceing west on the VBR&S. VBR&S Running a Scheduled Train
VBR&S Running a Scheduled Train. When you're assigned a train on the VBR&S you'll receive a Clearance Card, a Timetable for your train, a Locomotive Card and if a freight, some waybill/carcards. The Loco Card can be found in the slot corresponding to the track your train is on. These are on the inside of the doors housing the controls for Hidden Holding at Rio and Montview. This is a photo of the one at Rio which has 7 tracks. The Montview Hidden Holding area has 6 tracks. Getting out of Hidden Holding.

Yard Master Monroe Yard Operating Instructions. As Yard Master you will co-ordinate the North and South yard switcher crews dutys. You will direct all activity within Monroe Yard Limits including assigning tracks to trains entering the yard, assigning tracks for cars to be placed for pick up and setout, and building and blocking correctly local freights.
