http://twolazyvegans.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 21, 2008. So, I am a big pasta dish fan, particularly of Alfredo dishes. And last night, for the first time, I tried the Alfredo sauce from The Ultimate Uncheese Cookbook. However, it's not a fast fix recipe (unless you have blanched almonds on hand), so although not the gourmet phenomenon of the Uncheese variation, I give you my Lazy Pasta Tofreda! Taste the nutritional yeast in mine, so beware. 1 block soft tofu. 3/4 C rice milk. 1/4 C nutritional yeast. 1/2 tsp. thyme. 1 tsp mustard powder.

Green Bay Vegan: Cats...I know right?
http://greenbayvegan.blogspot.com/2009/03/catsi-know-right.html
Sunday, March 29, 2009. A lot of the reason that a cat may not use the litter box is completely preventable. Most cat behavior problems are fixable if not preventable. A lot of people declaw cats as an order of convenience. In fact, I have heard people ask "Why does this cat still have it's claws? As if after a certain age, the claws just fall off. (I will admit that I ask why dogs aren't spayed or neutered if I notice). Love your cats please. March 29, 2009 at 7:31 PM. You know a heck of a lot more in t...

How to Become a Vegan Domestic Goddess. My adventures in the kitchen and rants about the non-vegan world. Monday, September 21, 2009. Happy happy birthday to Michael, my awesome brother who turned vegan the same time I did and has been my animal-rights fighting buddy ever since. I can honestly say that vegan life would've been more difficult if not for him. He was the only vegan I knew for the longest time (until the vegans started coming out of hibernation when they heard about. My first vegan pie.

Another feature in Appetite Magazine pretty good vegan alfredo and edamame pate. More vegan love in the local food magazine scene. I contributed some vegan baking tips to this month's Appetite Magazine. I also handed in an original oatmeal cookie recipe, fairly similar in taste to the old butter-and-egg laden version I used to make in my pre-vegetarian days. The recipe calls...

How to Become a Vegan Domestic Goddess. My adventures in the kitchen and rants about the non-vegan world. Monday, October 12, 2009. String beans that will make you sing: Vegan MoFo #7. You've probably grown up having your own fair share of sucky vegetables. You know what I'm talking about - vegetables steamed, blanched or boiled to flavorless oblivion, sometimes sauteed in grease and some bits of animal protein, often discolored from too much cooking. Blech. My favorite way to cook beans? They usually co...
