My Velocettes and Other Stuff. A Thruxton at last! So at long last I have found myself the proud owner of a 1967 Thruxton! In the last few weeks I have switched the carburettor for a Mikuni while I overhaul the original GP. Replaced the gearbox mainshaft, replaced a broken front mudguard stay, change all oils, renewed a broken rear wheel stud, changed cables, plates, plug, filters, modified the rear set gear change, cleaned and polished everything and so much other stuff I've forgotten!
