Vernacular Films is a Michigan based film production company. Started in 2003, we developed our first feature film, An Apology to the Dead. Which trained and employed over 200 people between pre-production and when the film premiered in April, 2006. Since then many of those individuals we had the honor of working with have gone on to launch their own successful film production companies who currently work in Michigan.
