VFC's Book and Movie Review House. Sunday, July 3, 2011. Transformers 3 - Did It Live Up To The Hype? Not sure what to make of 'Transformers 3: Dark Of The Moon' just yet. I can't help but feel like they tried to do too much this time. The first half of the movie was spent waiting for something to happen, then when it did, it was sensory overload. Did anyone really go to the theaters to see Sam look for a job? Weak plotline that killed the pace of the movie. Iron Hide getting whacked by Sentinel Prime?

Once you're down to the final three, the talent level is pretty even, and most likely all three will garner a record deal of sorts, so the finale doesn't mean much more than braggin rights for the contestents. Here's to the real American Idol of 2009. Derek ...

VFC's views on todays news. Saturday, April 30, 2011. News and Notes: Royalty, Birth Certificates, Politics and Sheen. Looks like something might finally give in Syria, where the government and its armed forces have been mowing down demonstrators with brute force for weeks. Significant chunks of the armed forces are reported to have been dropping arms and taking up sides with the protesters. NATO has not yet confirmed, but Libyan sources report those facts. On to a more uplifting topic - The Royal Wedding.

How do you come up with that number? This number is ridiculous. Additionally, in...

Thursday, April 30, 2009. Julianne Hough May Have Danced Her Last Dance. She's made the claim before, but Julianne Hough insists that she won't be back for Season 9 of Dancing With the Stars, which means that Week 8 of Season 8 could mark her last competitive dance for the show. Julianne, in her skimpy outfits, has become a fan favorite of the program, but the koochy-kooing between her and her country singing beau grated on the nerves of fans this season. VFC's views on todays news. Friday, December 18, 2009. The Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen. A few thoughts on the conference in Copenhagen and climate change in general:. How can Al Gore expect anyone to take his talk of despair seriously when he's flying around in private jets and driving around in SUVs and limousines? Meanwhile, Nancy Pelosi used at least two Air Force jets to fly her and a delegation of over twenty (an outlandish number in itself) to the conference. Links to this post. Aside f...
